About the role

Join PT GIK TECH BERJAYA INDONESIA’ as an Export / Import professional in our thriving Freight/Cargo Forwarding team based in Batam Riau Islands. This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to take your career in logistics to the next level.

What you’ll be doing

• Handling all aspects of the export and import process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination

• Liaising with clients, carriers, and government agencies to ensure seamless and efficient logistics operations

• Monitoring shipment status and providing regular updates to clients

• Identifying opportunities to optimise logistics processes and reduce costs

• Maintaining accurate records and generating reports as required

• Providing support and guidance to junior team members

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an export/import or freight forwarding role

• Excellent knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders

• Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• A customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
