About the Role

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Review daily reports related to the operational activities of the entire fleet and report them to relevant parties

  • Ensure the smooth running of loading and unloading activities across the fleet and take necessary follow-up actions

  • Verify data requests from all fleet members before they are input into the system by operations staff

  • Conduct cleanliness and maintenance inspections of all fleet members, review records.

  • Check Floating Loading Facility (FLF) and Floating Crane (FC) timesheets and take corrective action if discrepancies are found

  • Calculate distances, trip durations, loading and unloading times, estimate fuel consumption across the fleet

  • Coordinate with external parties (shippers) regarding barge line-ups (cargo arrangements)

  • Review and verify reports on fresh water usage and deck spare parts across the fleet before they are requested and input into the system by Operation Staff

  • Ensure the maneuvering / berthing activities of Tugboats, Floating Cranes, and Floating Loading Facilities continue to run optimally

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum education of D4/S1 (Bachelor’s degree) in Port & Management, Nautical Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 2–3 years of experience as a port captain supervisor, in marine operations, shipyard, or related industry.

  • Proven leadership skills in managing, mentoring, and developing a technical team.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure.

Great to Have

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with marine safety standards and port technical certifications.
