About the role

At Beatrice Clothing, we are seeking an experienced Retail Area Manager to join our team in Jakarta. This is a full-time role that will oversee the operations and performance of multiple retail stores within a defined geographical area. As the Retail Area Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a consistent, exceptional customer experience across all assigned stores.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of several retail stores within your assigned area, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service

• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve profitability, and enhance the overall customer experience

• Provide coaching and support to store managers, ensuring they are equipped to effectively lead their teams and meet performance targets

• Monitor store-level metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed

• Collaborate with the central team to ensure alignment with the company’s overall strategic objectives and brand standards

• Identify and escalate any issues or risks that may impact store performance or customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in a retail management role, ideally with exposure to a multi-site or area management function

• Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of store managers and associates

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs

• Proficiency in data analysis and using performance metrics to inform business decisions

• Familiarity with retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and budgeting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with store teams and head office personnel
