About the role

Join the team at PT Tigate Trees Indonesia as a Pilot Drone Assistant. In this full-time position based in East Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation and maintenance of the company’s drone fleet. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the growing field of aerospace engineering and contribute to the company’s forestry and environmental protection initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist pilots in the operation and control of drone aircraft

  • Perform pre-flight inspections and ensure drones are properly maintained and in good working condition

  • Monitor and report on drone performance and data collected during flights

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades to the drone systems

  • Provide training and support to other staff on the use of drone technology

  • Ensure all drone operations comply with relevant regulations and safety protocols

What we’re looking for

  • Diploma or degree in aerospace engineering or a related technical field

  • 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining commercial or industrial drones

  • Strong knowledge of drone technology, including avionics, sensors, and flight control systems

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Proficient in the use of drone control software and data analysis tools

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
