Job Summary

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spices procurement, ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the company’s operations. This role involves managing procurement processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. 

 Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain efficient procurement processes and procedures in line with company policies and best practices.

• Oversee the sourcing and selection of suppliers, including identifying potential vendors, evaluating their capabilities, and negotiating terms and conditions.

• Manage the purchase order process from requisition to delivery and payment.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all procurement activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.

• Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field is required.

2. 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles

3. Familiarity with raw materials, agricultural commodities, or spices sourcing is highly preferred

4. Experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost control

5. Proficient in:

   • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

   • Procurement software (SAP ERP)

6. Ability to analyze procurement data and generate reports

7. Excellence in negotiation and communication skills

8. Excellence in relationship-building and stakeholder management
