About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account & Tax Staff to join our team at PT. Wijaya Perkasa Trading in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in managing the company’s accounting and tax-related responsibilities, contributing to the overall financial well-being and compliance of the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Make the reports based on accounting standard in Indonesia (monthly and yearly).
  • Advise Management on various tax liabilities and implications based on the contracts being signed and executed.
  • Advise Management on the tax implications on various bank transactions to avoid non-compliance with Tax System.
  • Update Management promptly on the new tax resolutions/revisions in the tax system by the Government of Indonesia annually or as and when revised.
  • Input data into accounting software or “Accurate”.
  • Understand well about the deductions and payments and claims/off-setting of profit taxes and/or others taxes against the payments against PPh 23, PPh 22, PPh 15, PPh 21, PPh 4 clause 2, PPh 25.
  • Make the invoice dan receive incoming invoices
  • Make cashflow and budget
  • Make account statement for all account payable, receivable and all account bank
  • Arranging LC, LC negotiating document and COO

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proven track record of accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical solutions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
