About the role

Ocean Dynasty Restaurant in Kuta, Bali is looking for a skilled Purchasing professional on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services to support the restaurant’s operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a well-established dining establishment in a vibrant tourist destination.

What you’ll be doing

1. Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best quality products at competitive prices

2. Managing the purchasing process, from identifying requirements to placing orders and overseeing delivery

3. Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely replenishment

4. Analysing purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise the supply chain

5. Collaborating with the management team to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly

6. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations

What we’re looking for

1. Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry

2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency

4. Proficient in using relevant software and systems for inventory management and purchasing activities

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

6. A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
