About the role

As the Supervisor ME Pertamina Project, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical aspects of a major construction project for PT. Pratama Teknik Inti Prima’ in Sorong, West Papua. This full-time position will involve leading a team of skilled technicians and ensuring the successful delivery of the project to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing

1. Manage and coordinate the work of mechanical and electrical teams, ensuring efficient and timely task completion

2. Develop and implement project plans, work schedules, and quality control measures

3. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other project managers to ensure effective communication and problem-solving

4. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks

5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team

7. Collaborate with the wider construction team to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical and electrical work

What we’re looking for

1. Substantial experience (5+ years) as a supervisor or foreperson in the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical and electrical work

2. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents

4. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

6. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on site

7. Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
