About the role

As an Account Manager for Personal and Home Care with PT Nardevchem Kemindo, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships within the personal and home care product categories. This full-time position is based in Jakarta and will involve a mix of office work and regular visits to key accounts.

What you’ll be doing

1. Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts within the personal and home care product categories

2. Identify new sales opportunities and work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

3. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business and maintain existing accounts

4. Collaborate with the technical scientist & product leadership teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional activities

5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth areas

6. Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and customer relationships

7. Assist with the development and implementation of sales training programmes for the wider team

What we’re looking for

1. Proven track record in a sales or account management role, preferably within the personal or home care industries

2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

3. In-depth understanding of the personal and home care product categories and the competitive landscape

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify growth opportunities and develop effective sales strategies

5. Proficient in using CRM systems and sales reporting tools

6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

7. Degree in a relevant field such as chemical, pharmacist or chemical engineering
