THE OPPORTUNITYAs a Principal Solution Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping prospects and customers understand how OpenText’s Business Network solutions can solve their most pressing integration and automation challenges. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to design and present tailored solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation across industries—with a strong focus on financial services. This is a customer-facing, strategic role that blends technical expertise with business acumen.

You will be a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex integration landscapes and helping them unlock the full potential of OpenText’s platform. YOU ARE GREAT ATEngaging with customers to understand their business processes, technical environments, and integration needsTranslating complex requirements into compelling solution proposals and demonstrationsLeading technical qualification, solution design, and proposal developmentCollaborating with Sales to drive opportunity assessment and strategic account planningDelivering clear, concise presentations and product briefings to stakeholders at all levelsResponding to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs with tailored, high-impact contentSupporting pre-sales evaluations with technical guidance, best practices, and troubleshootingActing as a liaison between Sales and Delivery to ensure seamless implementation transitionsWHAT IT TAKES5+ years of experience in software development, solution consulting, or pre-salesProven ability to analyze customer needs and present appropriate solutionsDeep understanding of B2B and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)Experience in financial services and the integration challenges faced by banks and corporatesFamiliarity with technologies such as SaaS, EDI, REST, JSON, SAML, SOA, AWS, GCP, SWIFT, ISO20022Knowledge of platforms like Gentran, Axway, Sterling, Bottomline, Volante, FIS, Finastra ACS, GXS, MulesoftStrong communication skills—written, verbal, and presentationAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel regularly to support customer engagementsProficiency in MS Word and PowerPointBachelor’s degree required; advanced certifications or technical training preferredWHY OPENTEXTWork with cutting-edge technologies and global clientsBe part of a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive cultureCompetitive compensation and benefitsOpportunities for continuous learning and career growth OpenText’s efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
