About the role
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead project teams in delivering complex engineering projects, from design and technical drawings to final execution. You will mentor junior staff, ensure quality and safety standards.
What You Will Do
1. Lead full-cycle from scratch engineering projects, including feasibility studies, design, budgeting (calculations/estimation bill of quantity, know the brand of the component), and execution
2. Supervise technical planning, drafting, drawing, design and implementation, ensuring compliance with SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) and international standards (e.g. ISO, ASME, IEC, API)
3. Review and validate detailed engineering drawings, P&ID, layouts, technical calculations, and specifications
4. Responsible for analyzing and resolving client issues by developing effective civil engineering solutions, including preparing and reviewing technical designs and drawings.
5. Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for operational issues and equipment failures
6. Lead and mentor junior engineers, ensuring projects progress smoothly and meet quality, timeline, and safety standards.
What will you need
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical or relevant field) from an accredited university.
2. Minimum 10 years of working experience in an industrial engineering environment (power plant, oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, wastewater, solid waste or similar). Must have hands-on experience in the design process, being directly involved from the initial stages of the project.
3. Strong command of technical software:
– Mechanical: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAESAR II, HTRI, PVElite. Obligatory to have the certificate of SKK Mechanical BNSP
– Electrical: ETAP, EPLAN, PLC/SCADA systems, MATLAB. Obligatory to have the certificate of SKK Electrical BNSP
– Civil: STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Tekla, MS Project. Obligatory to have the certificate of SKK Structure/Geotechnic BNSP
– Chemicals/Environment Technique: Understanding the proccess of water/wastewater/solid waste, etc. Obligatory to have the certificate of Environment Technical BNSP.
4. Deep understanding of:
– Preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
– Equipment and system design (pumps, compressors, piping systems, control panels)
– Project Management (planning, scheduling, cost control)
– Indonesian regulations (Permen LH, Permen ESDM, AMDAL, etc.)
– Professional Engineer (Insinyur Profesional Madya or Utama) certification is a strong plus
5. Excellent leadership, technical documentation, and communication skills
