Our global presence, which includes locations in 10 countries and manufacturing in the UK & USA with exports to over 110 countries, we are now focused on building and further developing our team in Australia. By adding another very important resource to the business, which is the role of Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager.

The Role: 

Due to the success worldwide of our group our company recently opened a new office in Jakarta Indonesia.  We now have a newly created opportunity for a sales engineer or Technical Sales Representative with an industrial sales background to join our team. Our Indonesian office is located in Tangerang, with this highly advantageous role, you will be managing a variety of accounts at multiple levels of contact. As well as being directly involved with providing technical solutions at a concept, design and operational level.

Responsibilities: 

• Working with engineers, site supervisors & procurement managers and developing these partnerships by key account management and strategic planning.

• Working with established partners from the bulk materials handling, stockfeed, flour, food and industrial sectors.

• Assisting OEM & end-user customers with technical advice on products / systems and troubleshooting any issues on bucket elevator & conveyor systems.

• Provide quotations and cost estimations across a range of sales inquiries.

• Provide assistance with some administration tasks as required, but still within a sales role.

• Represent the company at various trade and industry events and exhibitions.

The Candidate: 

• This role is a perfect opportunity for a sales professional with sound mechanical / electrical or mechatronics knowledge or a mechanical or an electrical engineer, and or an experienced / qualified mechanical fitter or electrician, who would like to become part of an established industry leader, offering a rewarding opportunity. 

• Preferably have completed a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with experience in bulk materials handling systems.

• Alternatively have a trade qualification or background with at least a 5-year trade background with the ability to communicate with engineers, and have had past experience with working on or maintaining bulk materials handling systems.

• Or have a minimum of 5 years industrial sales experience.

• Have 2D or 3D drawing software experience (Autodesk, Solidworks)

• Will be enthusiastic, strategic & demonstrate the ability to work autonomously.

• Will be willing to work in a close team and be supportive to others within the business.

• Will be open to traveling throughout Indonesia to various locations to meet with customers, and evaluate systems with the intent of providing problem solving solutions on a regular basis

•  Ideally you will have experience in industrial sales to the bulk materials handling, engineering, grain, mining and or manufacturing sectors.

• As this role requires communicating with 4B Head office, the successful candidate must have a high command of English language skills both spoken and written.

The Rewards: 

On offer for this role of Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative is a very attractive base salary with an additional monthly commission that is negotiable based on experience + BPJS Benefits + Fully maintained company vehicle + laptop + phone, with all business and travel expenses paid. 

Product training will be provided to the successful candidate, but we strongly encourage only persons who are suitably qualified and or experienced in the field of bulk materials handling systems to apply.
