Job description & requirements

Job Descriptions:

Provide database administration and maintenance:

• Handle backup and recovery both on-site and off-site.
• Maintain physical organization of database objects.
• Apply upgrades and fixes and migrate to new versions.
• Administer and enforce standards.
• Handle database systems using available database tools.  

Perform database testing:

• Perform tests.
• Document test results and make recommendations.

Operation Database Administration Activities:

• Maintain database administration activities in BINUS units including configuration, security, resource monitoring and reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Provide excellent service to users, in relation to the service request, data, and information updates in BINUS business unit/ division.
• Maintain database performance.
• Maintain the quality of database administration processes.
• Maintain data security and accuracy in all BINUS business units/divisions.
• Maintain backup data in accordance with existing instructions.

ERP & Analytics:

• Participate in the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure of Oracle ERP (PeopleSoft) and Analytic Applications.
• Support the availability and operation of Oracle ERP and Analytic database for operational activities conducted by units within BINUS Units.
• Perform test application Oracle ERP & Analytic System.

Supporting Management Activities:

• Create activities report.
• Perform activities related to Quality System.
• Carry out other activities as instructed by the direct supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• University student (4th semester), preferably from Computer Studies
• Special Skill:

– Database Management System (DBMS)

– Web Services Administration (System and Application)
