We are assisting our client, a growing company in Semarang, in finding a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Executive to manage financial activities and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recognize all purchases and payable activities, ensuring proper document matching and updating the system.

  • Manage the subsidiary set of financial accounting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on month-end close, including reviewing accounts payable and related ledgers.

  • Perform expense analysis and recommend improvements in cost-cutting measures where applicable.

  • Monitor costs related to construction and payments to contractors.

  • Track operational cash flow and prepare cheques for payments.

  • Arrange documentation for the importation of raw materials, shipping charges, and payments to overseas accounts.

  • Prepare and arrange documentation for the exportation of products and instruct receipts to payees.

  • Prepare year-end closing activities, including financial statements and audit schedules.

  • Liaise with company auditors for sending confirmations and inter-company confirmations.

  • Prepare and file statutory reports in compliance with Indonesian regulations.

  • Handle any other accounting-related duties as assigned by superior.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in finance/accounting; experience with taxation is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to work independently, particularly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

  • Experience with accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is advantageous.

  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
