Job Description

The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Health Ops, this position provides medical leadership and physician advices for all medical-related functions within the company, as well as supporting execution of health strategy. This position takes ownership on continually uplifting the claims adjudication, provider management and case management capabilities of the company through identification and implementation of active claims containment, health innovation, digitization, operational enhancements and cost efficiencies based on expert knowledge and technological advancement in medical science.

What we are looking for

Education

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with an M.D.

Professional/Trade Qualification

• ​Indonesia local practicing experience is preferable
• Good understanding of underwriting/claims protocol and philosophy
• FLMI, FLHC/ALHC, FALU/AALU and/or CLU would be assets
• Experience with quality improvement and utilization improvement work/projectsHigh integrity and professional work practice and ethic
• Must exude confidence and believe that what they are doing is for the benefit of their customers, their employees, and the company
• A leader  who can work with different type of people and motivate the team and boost up energy levels
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Ability to learn, to explain ideas, and to document outcomes
• Good relationship management and teaming skills
• Good and creative problem solving and analytical skills

Experiences

• ​10-15 years of insurance medicine experience working for life & health insurers, reinsurance or related businesses, and is registered with the Medical Council of Indonesia (Surat Tanda Registrasi)

Computer Proficiency

• ​Ms. Office

Language Proficiency

• Bahasa Indonesia
• English
