Requirements :

• Min Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Environmental Engineering
• Having min  5 years experience in maintain environment in mining operations
• Hold POP / POPAL Certification
• Understand MARPOL regulations (International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships
• Computer skilled (e.g. Ms. office/database)
• Willing to work on sites in flexible/extended hours to meet the company objectives
• POP Competency is preferred
• Willing to be placed in our mine site Paser East Kalimantan with roster 6 weeks on-site and 2 weeks off (field-brake will be fully accommodated to POH/KTP)

Job Descriptions :

• Supervise and ensuring the implementation of environmental safety policies and procedures at the port in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Ensuring the effective implementation of monitoring, control, and mitigation measures to protect the ecosystem around the port.
• Conducting regular inspections of facilities and work sites to proactively identify, evaluate, and manage potential environmental risks.
• Ensuring environmental monitoring activities are carried out, recorded, and evaluated, such as air quality, water quality, soil quality, and energy usage.
• Preparing detailed and timely environmental reports to be submitted to authorities and company management.
• Developing, reviewing, and implementing waste management plans to minimize environmental impact.
• Leading the team and coordinating work effectively to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and support the achievement of company operational standards.
• Designing and implementing a comprehensive environmental training program for employees and contractors to enhance awareness, knowledge, and skills.
• Collaborating with other divisions and departments to ensure that environmental aspects are addressed at the port.
• Leading and initiating continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing environmental impact and achieving sustainability goals.
