About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at PT Indojaya Mitra Sarana, a leading provider of industrial instrumentation and automation solutions. In this full-time role, you’ll be responsible for providing expert technical support and sales expertise to our customers accross Indonesia. As a key member of our sales team, you’ll play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth and success.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing technical expertise and guidance to customers on the selection, installation, and operation of our instrumentation and automation products
• Conducting on-site visits, assessments, and demonstrations to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions
• Preparing detailed proposals, quotations, and technical documentation to support sales efforts
• Negotiating contracts and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional materials
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments
• Providing post-sales support and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales engineer or technical sales role, preferably in the instrumentation or automation industry
• Strong technical understanding of industrial instrumentation, control systems, and automation technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and data sheets
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to customer challenges
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications
• A degree in engineering, automation, or a related technical field
