Purpose of the role:

Responsible to coordinate superior client service delivery and execution activities of the customs house brokerage team in respective location. Executes these activities personally or through the teams, ensuring compliance with any local customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of timely and accurate completion of all Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements.
• Ensure delivery of timely and accurate execution of all financial activities relevant to CHB VAS
• Ensure all Customer needs are met or exceeded, within our Compliance Controls.
• Responsible for load balancing workload, highlighting any risk to CHB Execution Team Leader.
• Ensure shipment report updated timely and accurate, to support data presenting reports to Management, Customer, Internal Stakeholders, Compliance and Implementation Teams by CHB Execution team leader.
• To ensure all Operating Manuals are reviewed regularly and updated where required.
• Ensure that work carried out complies with standard as defined in the operating Manuals.
• To ensure the Quality Assurance Procedures are up to date and clearly reflect current working practices. (ISO)
• Ensuring that all HMRC/statutory requirements are met or exceeded. (AEO or any other Customs authorisations)
• Identify waste in processes, continuously driving and delivering improvements which will positively impact productivity (production) levels.
• Attend and Support HMRC Audits and Face to Face Customer Meetings
• Maintain a first-class business relationship with all customers and internal stakeholders.
• To support all growth and actively participate in creating innovative solutions.
• Develop Customs product to expand portfolio, market footprint and generation of additional revenue.
• Support commercial activities and campaigns.
• Planning leave to support CHB Execution Team leader in ensuring adequate HC in place to meet production levels.
• In-conjunction with Senior Customs Coordinator arrange account cover for unexpected absence.
• Join appraisal meetings, set objectives, in accordance with HR policy and support.
• Support other Areas/Regions, operationally and sharing Best Practice.
• Manage all matters in respect of employee relations such as disciplinary and grievance issues in accordance with HR policy.
• To be an active team member who will exchange knowledge and expertise.
• QHSSE: Perform all responsibilities and tasks in a manner compliant to Maersk Indonesia & Philippines QHSSE procedures
