Objectives of the role

  • Set up selling strategy to achieve sales target with good margin in all segments within Central Indonesia. The coverage area will focusing on Balikpapan area and surrounding.
  • Penetrate all opportunities at every area above and also find the local potential and strong companies to be appointed as our local applicators.
  • Capture customer demands from time to time to deliver product forecast accurately.
  • Make coordination with related internal departments to ensure we give as best as possible service to our customers and to fulfil all reasonable customers’ requests.
  • Meet Fosroc Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Targets – zero Days Away from Work (DAFWC), zero High Potential Incident (HIPO), zero Major Incidents (MI)

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop business contacts to create strong sales pipeline for all segment to meet and exceed business plan sales targets
  • Update regularly all customer and project database. Monitor receivable collection within the area. Make coordination with finance to ensure the payment collection from customers are paid on time.
  • Manage pricing structure between applicator, contractor and end users.
  • Schedule and make regular visits to all customer categories: owner facilities, engineering houses, main contractors, and applicators, to update project status and ensure our products are used on each project.
  • Effectively manage the balance between risk and opportunity in the area of sales activities
  • Track and document the activities of competitors, customers’ (direct and indirect) and clients, then formulate effective strategies to maximize Fosroc sales.
  • Generate new product development through the company innovation process and launch new products, as required in sales strategy, into the market segments
  • Propose promotion activities, like sponsorship event Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia or Asosiasi Chief Engineering Indonesia to increase brand awareness Fosroc in the area.

Knowledge /experience / skills / personal attributes

Essential:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering preferable
  • Five years sales project experience
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • The ability to enjoy working a multicultural environment.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Has experience as Sales Engineer 
  • Experience in the Chemical Construction Industry / Building materials segments
  • Leaving in or willing to be placed in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur
