OVO is currently open for The Manager, AML

You Will:

• Ensure that Risk & AML policies and processes are applied consistently and thoughtfully as the organization continues to scale
• Develop, implement and monitor company-wide fraud prevention framework and AML-CFT practices that is compliant with regulatory guidelines
• Demonstrate exceptional judgement in handling sensitive issues and a mindset for recognizing and mitigating risk
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive concepts to high impact solutions
• Manage and mentor a team of great people in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment
• Set and own OKRs, plan out strategic initiatives and drive the team to deliver action plans to ensure goals are met
• Communicate and report overall status, primary metrics, key issues and solution plans to senior management

What You Need:

• University degree in the field of law, business law, political science, economics. An advanced degree in one these fields is a plus
• 10-12 years of experience in risk and compliance in the Financial / Banking Industry 
• Able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge and expertise covering conduct of business matters, corporate governance matters and regulatory risk and regulatory change matters
• Practical and commercial approach to problem solving
• Comprehensive experience of the financial regulatory environment (BI and OJK)
• Strong business knowledge, understanding and usage of technology, and application of appropriate Risk Management methodologies
• Previous practical working knowledge and experience within the Payments Industry & Fintech would be an advantage
• Strong understanding of government and regulator processes and institutions would be an advantage
