Key Responsibilities:

  1. ESG Strategy Development:
    • Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s ESG strategy.
    • Conduct materiality assessments to identify and prioritize key ESG issues.
    • Collaborate with various departments to integrate ESG considerations into all business operations.
    • Develop ESG goals and objectives aligned with the company’s long-term strategy.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ESG initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
  2. Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across different functions of the organization.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and scenario analyses to anticipate and prepare for potential risks.
    • Ensure that risk management processes are integrated into the strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  3. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant ESG regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Develop and maintain ESG and risk management reporting frameworks.
    • Prepare detailed ESG and risk management reports for senior management, board members, and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of ESG and risk-related metrics and performance indicators.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote the organization’s ESG and risk management efforts.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, investors, customers, and community partners.
    • Organize and lead training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs for employees on ESG and risk management topics.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for ESG and risk management inquiries.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to ESG and risk management.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the organization’s ESG and risk management frameworks.
    • Conduct regular reviews and audits of ESG and risk management processes to ensure their effectiveness.
    • Foster a culture of sustainability and risk awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG management, risk management, or a related area.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of ESG standards, regulations, and best practices.
    • Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using ESG and risk management software and tools.
    • Experience in poultry Industry is a plus.
    • Proven track record of successful ESG and risk management initiatives.
