The Exploration Geologist will be conducting thorough exploration, ensuring continuity, and developing activities. Successful candidate will be responsible to assist in planning for greenfield and exploration areas, including conducting reconnaissance, mapping, and scout drills.

Description

• Tasks include conducting thorough exploration, ensuring continuity, and developing activities.
• Assist in planning for greenfield and exploration areas, including conducting reconnaissance, mapping, and scout drills.
• Capable of identifying the geological distribution of iron ore during field surveys.
• Able to develop work plans and budgets for exploration activities.
• Responsible for performing QA/QC monitoring, which involves identifying geological conditions, analysing field databases, verifying exploration data results, and laboratory test results.
• Capable of producing Geological reports and Exploration maps.
• Preference is given to candidates with the ability to calculate resources in accordance with KCMI and SNI standards

Profile

1. Applicants must be no older than 35 years of age.
2. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in geology engineering from a reputable university.
3. A minimum of three years’ experience in mapping exploration of iron ore is required.
4. Possession of POP Certification is mandatory.
5. Applicants must demonstrate expertise in mining software, including Logplot/Strater, ArcGIS/QGis, Global Mapper, and Mapsource.
6. Applicants should have prior experience in establishing and managing projects and teams in remote locations with minimal supervision.
7. Ability to work effectively under constant pressure with minimal support is essential.
8. Applicants must have the capacity to operate field tools such as GPS and geological compass.
