Designs mine infrastructure and manages long-term planning for greenfield projects, considering legal, technical, geotechnical, and economic factors. Prepares feasibility studies, mine closure plans, AMDAL, RKAB, and reports. Ensures alignment with targets and safety standards. Leads and trains the team to ensure accurate execution of mine planning and production activities.

Description

As a Mine Planning Superintendent, your main responsibilities will include:

• Design mine infrastructure including haul roads, sediment ponds, and water management systems with operational constraints in mind.
• Develop long-term mine plans for greenfield projects by considering legal, technical, and economic aspects.
• Ensure geotechnical and sequencing integration in mine designs for safe and efficient implementation.
• Support technical documentation, including Feasibility Studies, Mine Closure Plans, AMDAL, RKAB, and reporting.
• Lead and mentor planning teams, ensuring skill development and effective execution of production support activities.
• Monitor planning accuracy through regular updates and reconciliation of mine plans with actual production.

Profile

A successful Mine Planning Superintendent should have:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with 5 years of field-related experience, and at least 2 years in the same industry.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), email, and internet browsing; able to operate mining design and scheduling software.
• POP, POM, English training, HSE awareness, and mining-related software training are considered advantages.
• Strong work ethic, good attitude, problem-solving, leadership, time management, creativity, and teamwork.
• Able to prepare operational reports, document management, and understand corporate environmental and safety standards.
