Your day at NTT DATA

The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.

Through the proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving of technical incidents and problems, the Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is able to restore service to clients.

The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA).

The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity and focusses across two or more technology domains – Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications and / or Collaboration etc.

This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.

What you’ll be doing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a mixed IT environment encompassing Wintel, Virtualization, and Linux systems.
• Proficiency in administering Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019) and Active Directory services.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Strong command of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with storage solutions such as SAN/NAS technologies (e.g., EMC, NetApp).
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, RHCE) are preferred
• Handson Linux (RHEL or Ubuntu or CentOS)
• ⁠Windows Server
• ⁠Virtualization
• Have experienced with Cloud (GCP atau AWS) is a plus
