Get to Know the Team

The Transformation Office, situated within the CEO’s Office, is a passionate group of problem solvers at Grab who work on the most critical issues different countries, functions and departments are tackling. Our projects range from new business launches to large-scale transformation programs.The team is involved in strategizing and on the ground execution of initiatives in alignment with multiple cross functional stakeholders. As an added mandate, the team leads post merger integrations, periodic investment reviews and supporting the due diligence phases for potential mergers and acquisitions.

Get to Know the Role 

You will report to the Director, Transformation Office & PMI, in a hybrid working arrangement, with traveling across SEA required as part of the work. You will build strategy, create high impact change and have unparalleled exposure to senior management, working across a range of departments and functions within SEA.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

1) Project delivery

• End- to-end ownership and implementation of projects
• Understand our requirements and define the project approach
• Work and align with cross functional stakeholders to achieve the desired project goals
• Ensure execution of the projects and completion of project deliverables
• Support in due diligence of deals, lead post merger integration for new acquisitions and run periodic reviews of past investments.

2) Stakeholder management

• Conduct data-driven and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations
• Influential with senior stakeholders and working teams

3) Thought partnership

• Provide guidance to senior stakeholders and provide domain/ project expertise knowledge when needed
• Beyond project delivery and scope, contribute to problem identification and resolution for overall improvement and optimisation

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a renowned institute
• At least 5 years of prior experience in Management/strategy consulting/tech – F&B, payments, e-commerce businesses would be considered for managerial position
• You are proactive, resourceful and flexible when encountering problems
• You are adaptable and comfortable working under pressure
• You are proficient in English, both spoken and written
• Experience in deal due diligence, post merger integrations
