Key Responsibilities:

1. Mapping Goods for Better Storage:
   • Develop and implement effective storage strategies to optimize warehouse space and improve accessibility of goods.
   • Design and maintain proper storage layouts to enhance efficiency and reduce retrieval times.
2. ROL System for Consumables and Spare Parts:
   • Establish and manage a Reorder Level (ROL) system for consumables and spare parts to ensure timely replenishment.
   • Monitor stock levels and trigger reorders based on predefined thresholds.
3. Stock Management and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate daily records of raw material and packing material stock.
   • Publish weekly stock reports to provide visibility into inventory levels and support decision-making.
   • Ensure accuracy of available stock data and rectify any discrepancies promptly.
4. Control of Rejected Materials:
   • Manage the handling and processing of rejected materials, including the issuance of debit notes.
   • Oversee the disposal of rejected materials in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
5. Control of Receiving and Issuing Materials:
   • Oversee the receipt and issuing of materials, ensuring that all material issues are properly authorized and recorded.
   • Implement controls to prevent unauthorized issuance of parts and manage packing material reconciliation.
   • Ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of packing materials issued versus consumed.
6. Inventory Accuracy and Optimization:
   • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
   • Identify and address any issues related to inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
7. Warehouse Operations:
   • Supervise the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safe handling and compliance with safety protocols.
   • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment in line with health and safety standards.
8. Team Management:
   • Lead, train, and manage store/warehouse staff, setting performance targets and conducting regular evaluations.
   • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Ensure proper documentation for all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
   • Prepare and submit reports related to inventory levels, material handling, and stock discrepancies.
10. Coordination and Communication:
    • Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control teams to align inventory with production requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers and logistics partners to address any issues related to stock or material delivery.
