Overview:

As a Managed Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our client’s infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and supporting Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services, Azure, on-premises networks, and SQL and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management:
  • Monitor and manage the performance of Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services (MS Teams, MS Exchange, OneDrive), Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for infrastructure management, including security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Problem Resolution:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services, Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Service Desk Support:
  • Respond to end-user inquiries and support requests related to Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services, Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Project Implementation:
  • Assist in the implementation of new infrastructure components or upgrades.
  • Configure and test new systems to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure components and processes.
  • Create knowledge base articles and procedures for reference.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft WPS, Collaboration Services (MS Teams, MS Exchange, OneDrive), Azure, on-premises networks, SQL, and Oracle databases.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or related technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.
