Job Description:

Procurement & Supplier Management:

• Manage the full procurement process for the home living category, including but not limited to optimizing production lead times, handling purchase orders (POs), managing payments, and ensuring quality control of incoming products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers in China and Indonesia, negotiating contracts and ensuring alignment with business needs in terms of pricing, quality, and product availability.
• Work closely with suppliers to develop high-quality (S-level) products specifically designed for the home cleaning sector, ensuring these products align with market trends and customer preferences.

Product Assortment Planning:

• Collaborate with the Category Manager to curate an optimal product assortment that reflects market demand and seasonal trends in the home living category.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine the product mix, ensuring the right balance of products is available to meet both demand and profitability goals.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities for introducing new or improved products.

Category Performance & Analysis:

• Monitor and analyze category performance, using data-driven insights to recommend adjustments in product offerings, pricing, and stock levels.
• Develop strategies to improve category profitability and market share, including identifying key growth areas and potential risks.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and supplier performance for senior management.

Visual Merchandising & Presentation:

• Ensure that home living products are displayed in an appealing and customer-centric manner, both online and in-store, to drive customer engagement and sales.
• Work closely with commodity teams to optimize product listings, ensuring clear, accurate, and attractive product descriptions, images, and placement.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment through rolling inventory management.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring optimal inventory turnover and availability for customers.

   

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, merchandising, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, procurement, or category management within the retail or e-commerce sector, with a focus on home living or related categories.
• Experience in sourcing home cleaning tools or home living products is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is a must, able to speak Mandarin would be a plus
• Proficient in analyzing sales data, conducting market research, and adjusting category strategies based on insights
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Familiarity with visual merchandising principles and e-commerce best practices.
