ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor pull-force and speed of machinery, resin, and temperature consistency.  Adjust machinery and materials for proper feeding of raw materials and equipment operation.
• Record information pertaining to production runs such as weight of material used, length of cable, amount of waste produced, etc.
• Set up reels for proper feeding of finished core material.
• Observe and listen to machinery/equipment operation to detect possible malfunction. 
• Effectively perform shift changeovers by communicating with in-coming line employees as to any previous shift problems/issues.
• Maintain quality standards:  conduct first piece and line clearance inspections. 
• Perform in-process inspections and examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
• Read and interpret gauges, record measurements, document batch measurements, and accurately complete process control logs.
• Conduct safety trainings.
• Ensure safety rules are maintained, inspect MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for proper handling of materials and ensure adherence to this by all team members.
• Ensure all team members follow operating and maintenance instructions for tools/machinery, and utilize relevant manuals for adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Comply with safety and operating policies and procedures regarding equipment, materials, and finished goods. 
• Ensure housekeeping tasks have been completed to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. 
• Communicate with team members to assure complete understanding of directions, issues, problems, changes, or other challenges. 
• Monitor overall quality of production runs.
• Recognize, document, and report any problems, issues, or discrepancies with core production processes.  Report on these daily to Core Production Supervisor.
• Forward any questions or concerns of team members to Supervisor in a timely fashion.
• Investigate machine stoppages and make any necessary adjustments (prior to restarting) in accordance with safety and production policies and procedures.
• Measure, weigh, and mix resin materials in conformance with specifications and procedures.
• Set up raw materials for new production runs.
• Remove product, machine attachments, and waste material from machinery.
• Monitor reels to ensure core material is wrapping consistently.
• Off-load reels of completed product for Shipping Department.
• Recognize characteristics of resins and epoxies.
• Maintain maximum efficiency in the department. 
• Identify K3 hazards and risks as well as aspects and environmental impacts associated with activities in the work area
• Submitting K3 and environmental management programs in the work areas that they lead based on the results of ASDAM and HIRADC
• Implement proper and effective K3 management and environmental communications and evaluate their methods in the work areas they lead.
• Report on the implementation of the K3 management system and the environment in the work area to the relevant supervisor
• Report actions and conditions that result in work accidents, occupational diseases, and pollution to their respective superiors.
• Comply with all applicable K3 and environmental regulations at PT. Composite Core Indonesia

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ability to speak and read English effectively.
• Diploma 3/ Bachelor Degree ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Capable of signaling direction or warnings to others.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), operating and maintenance instructions, and any relevant manuals.
• Knowledge of raw materials and handling.
• Awareness of safety procedures.
• Knowledge of production procedures.
• Understanding of machine set up instructions
