About the Role:

As the Head of Commercial Banking, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our commercial lending portfolio. Leveraging your extensive experience in credit analysis, risk management, and team leadership, you will lead a dynamic team of Relationship Managers and Analysts in East Kalimantan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Commercial Banking division, aligning with organizational goals and targets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation within the team.
• Credit Proposal Management:
  • Oversee the preparation and review of commercial loan proposals..
  • Ensure all credit proposals comply with regulatory requirements and align with the bank’s risk appetite.
  • Participate actively in credit committee meetings, providing informed recommendations and contributing to credit decision-making processes.
• Team Development and Guidance:
  • Mentor and guide Relationship Managers and Analyst teams in preparing comprehensive credit proposals and enhancing proposal quality.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure teams are up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Business Development:
  • Collaborate closely with business development teams to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Drive initiatives to cross-sell banking products and services to existing clients, maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Monitor credit quality through regular compliance reports and proactively address potential risk factors.
  • Work closely with the Risk Management team to mitigate credit risks and maintain portfolio quality.
• Performance Metrics:
  • Set clear performance targets for the team, focusing on loan growth, revenue generation, credit proposal quality, NPL management, and turnaround time (TAT) for credit processes.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to ensure goals are met or exceeded.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commercial banking, with a strong focus on credit analysis, risk management, and team leadership.
• Proven track record of successfully managing commercial loan portfolios with ticket sizes up to IDR 500 billion.
• Excellent understanding of banking regulations, credit policies, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving ambitious goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
