Management Accountant (MA) – Fast Growing International Company

Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, detail-oriented Management Accountant (MA) with deep experience working in western PT PMA manufacturing companies to perform managerial and cost accounting work and some financial accounting work. Our MA will be mining data from our ERP system, general ledger and factory’s manufacturing processes to analyze business costs and operation processes to prepare internal financial reports, records, and accounts to support managers’ decision-making process in achieving business goals. Some of the decision-making areas include profit margins, manufacturing budgets and constraints, capital budgeting, trends and forecasting, valuation and product costing, and business tactical and strategic directions. The MA, as a key team member within the accounting team in Semarang will assist and support our accounting team with month-end and annual close, stock take, preparing budgets, forecasts for Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets and cash flow reports, including assisting with audit preparations.

• Product and process profitability analysis
• Investment appraisal
• Performance evaluation
• Support monthly, annual close and annual audit processes
• Perform account analysis to make sure that entries and balances are correct.
• Reconcile Accounts – As needed
• Analyze Financial Information
• Prepare Journal Entries – As needed
• Apply appropriate managerial accounting techniques to perform data mining for knowledge discovery, studying processes, and analyzing of relevant quantitative and qualitative data and information, in the general ledger, financial reports, company’s ERP systems and manufacturing work processes to develop and recommend business theories, tactics and strategies to company management.
• Data Collection and Preparation for Financial Reports, Forecasting and Planning – revenue and expense forecasts for budgeting, inventory management, capital expenditure, loan and cash flow planning and other key financial metrics and processing.
• Any other FP&A reports, research projects and new learning update and upgrade as the need arises.

• Fluent communication in English, and Mandarin will be advantages.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant related field required and has interest working towards professional certification preferred.
• Required 5 – 10 years of experience in Management Accounting; preferably in a multi company environment and in a manufacturing accounting environment, involved in consumer products export, with at least 5-7 years demonstrated experience working with general ledgers and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Infor ERP systems or similar or equivalent accounting systems.
• Experienced working with IFRS standards with FP&A experience and strong interest in manufacturing ERP systems will be an advantage.
