As a Sr. 2D (Generalist) Artist, you will be involved in visualizing the game concepts to creating the final 2D art assets that will be used in the game efficiently and effectively. You will also mentor and coach fellow 2D artists.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art.
• Create high-quality game ready 2D Assets (including illustration and UI elements).
• Contribute to development of 2D art pipeline standards.
• Keep up with latest tools & techniques in 2D art domain
• Collaborate with fellow artists, team leads, tech and design teams to produce high quality games.
• Collaborate with technical artist regarding procedural asset creation, asset integration, shader, and lighting setup.
• Coach qnd mentor fellow 2D artist.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of art fundamentals.
• First-hand knowledge and practical experience of 2D raster & vector Digital Content Creation software.
• Ability to quickly iterate on ideas and take an asset to final illustration state.
• Strong understanding of 2D asset implementation in game engine.
• Full understanding of game development workflows and pipelines.
• Able to adapt or define new pipeline for asset creation.
• A proactive communicator, willing to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• 5+ years of professional experience in game development industry as 2D Artist with at least one shipped title (excluding academic projects).

Pluses

• Proficiency in 2D animation and VFX.
• Storyboarding experience.
• Strong understanding of 3D Art Creation process.
