Job Descriptions:

 The Head of Video Strategy is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the video strategy for a company. This includes creating and executing video content plans that align with the overall business objectives, audience preferences, and industry trends. The role requires a strategic and creative thinker who can manage and oversee all aspects of video production, distribution, and marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive video strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and brand identity.
• Oversee the creation of video content, from concept development to production, editing, and distribution.
• Manage and lead a team of video producers, editors, and other video production staff.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and product, to ensure the video strategy aligns with their goals and needs.
• Analyze and report on the performance of video content, using data to make informed decisions about future strategies and tactics.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and emerging video platforms to inform the video strategy and ensure it stays ahead of the curve.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, such as video production companies, to ensure high-quality and cost-effective video production.
• Develop and manage the video budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
• Ensure all video content is consistent with the company’s brand and messaging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in video production, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of video production processes, from concept development to distribution.
• Familiarity with video editing software and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, including providing constructive feedback and coaching.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Knowledge of industry trends and emerging video platforms.
