Work you’ll do

Support Finance, Accounting Operation Southeast Asia (“SEA”) Cluster Lead in local accounting and statutory matters including:

• Overseeing all of financial and accounting activities including transaction processing and ensuring compliance to local in-country statutory and regulatory requirements relating to financial, accounting and tax activities
• Ensure compliance to all local regulatory and statutory reporting required in relation to Finance for the local operations. 
• Work closely with SEA finance team, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of financial accounting and reporting
• Manage the outsourced functions i.e.  shared services center, if any 
• Manage the external audit processes, ensure compliance to local regulatory timelines
• Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Treasury Management
• Internal controls on AP process, petty cash, sampling AR aging with Contract to avoid AR & Tax dispute
• Co-ordinating yearly audit process, reconcile interfirm balances, financial statement analysis
• Assist project multiplier calculation, office legal compliance support, support client contract preparation on Finance perspective

Tax statutory, accounting, audit and planning

• Manage the tax statutory reporting, tax accounting activities and ensure compliance, timeliness, and accuracy of monthly and annual corporate tax/withholding tax/value added tax/etc. returns and payments for Deloitte Indonesian (ID) entities.
• Improve in the development and efficient maintenance of processes to manage tax compliance and reporting activities within Indonesian entities and with Deloitte Finance.
• Ensure tax accounting and collaborate with the Deloitte Finance team in the maintenance of all tax related General Ledger balances, including adjustments in respect of Long Terms Assignees (LTA)/in-bounders tax cost/ inter-co/ etc.
• Support to ensure compliance of transfer pricing rules for related parties’ transactions within Indonesian entities and transactions with other Deloitte SEA entities. 
• Coordinate and collaborate tax audits effectively with Deloitte Finance and tax agents, support in the negotiations with tax auditors, and work to close audits efficiently.
• Tax Reporting reconciliation with SAP
• Analyze and propose strategies to mitigate tax liabilities of the Deloitte Indonesian entities by effectively managing/coordinating on projects assigned.
• Support leadership in the successful implementation of tax initiatives in Indonesian.

What we are looking for

If you are someone with:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting
• At least 7 years of experience in similar role
• Knowledge of SAP Accounting/Finance modules/system
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 
• Strong analytical, supervisory, coaching and project management skills 
• Must display professionalism and confidence 
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills 
• Ability to delegate and leverage resources and support from other parts of the organization 
• Excellent business acumen and industry acumen 
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
• Travel, only when required.
