Curriculum Development and Instruction:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective physics lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
• Develop and implement differentiated instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance learning.
• Incorporate technology and hands-on experiments to support conceptual understanding and practical skills.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and administer formative and summative assessments to measure student progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to students, parents, and school administration.
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including the Extended Essay and Internal Assessments.

Classroom Management:

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active learning.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.

Professional Development:

• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with curriculum standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights for continuous improvement.

Student Support and Mentoring:

• Provide academic support and guidance to students, including one-on-one tutoring and extra help sessions.
• Serve as an advisor or mentor to students, fostering their personal and academic development.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to the IB program.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the school community regarding student progress and school events.
