Job Description

Objective

• Providing financial information, leadership, and support to commercial business partners and company leaders.
• Ensure strong corporate governance and supportive collaboration with Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners and shareholders of the joint venture.
• Conduct budgeting, financial planning and forecasting
• Ensure reliable statutory accounting & reporting compliance
• Ensure compliance with local and corporate statutory requirements
• Ensure compliance with Pharmaceutical Industry Code and Takeda Code

Activities and Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting

• Review and analyse the financial information
• Cash flows forecast and control
• Budgetary planning and control
• Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
• Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Ensures correct, adequate, timely information on COGS / COGM and proposes, reviews and challenges associated improvement initiatives in close collaboration with manufacturing finance team
• Responsible for company’s financial accounting, monitoring , statutory compliance and reporting systems as well as financial audit.
• Responsible for timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting of financial information to BOD/BOC/Shareholders in line with articles of association and good corporate governance principles
• Responsible for Internal Control management , implement and enforce internal control policies and procedures;
• Developing external relationships with appropriate contracts e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations
• Ensure tax compliance
• Producing accurate financial and management reports to specific deadlines
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
• Management and overseeing of the Business & Financial Reviews.
• Business partner to all other departments by providing adhoc analysis and reports

Demand Planning

• Support supply management, ensuring compliance with Distribution contracts, optimal stock holding and new launch planning
• Implementing and enforcing Purchasing policies and procedures
• Ensure accuracy of forecasting through S&OP process

Job Specification

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 8 years finance and/or accounting experience
• Experience in heading Finance Department with corresponding statutory responsibilities
• Experience in working with Indonesian governance structure  is strongly preferred
• Experience in manufacturing finance is strongly preferred
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
• Experience in working in Indonesia is preferred with strong understanding of local statutory, corporate governance, tax and other regulatory requirements
• Strong analytic skills:  able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate  alternatives and drive positive change
• Strong organizational skills, capacity to quickly identify problems and structure solutions, and to plan and prioritize work on multiple projects, while maintaining high quality and meeting or exceeding deadlines
• Energetic and highly motivated leader with strong leadership qualities who is able to work independently
• Mature and dependable business executive who has adequate personal stature and charisma in dealing with regional and corporate management
• A result oriented and solution driven mind-set and consistently challenges status quo to meet and/or exceed business objectives
