Job Description

• Lead and oversee all aspects of plantation operations within the designated region, including planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes and workflows to maximize productivity, minimize costs, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Provide strong leadership to a diverse team of plantation managers, supervisors, and field staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate plantation performance, regularly monitoring and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and strategic interventions.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, as well as external stakeholders such as local communities, government authorities, and industry partners.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, certifications, and sustainability standards, driving initiatives to promote environmental conservation, social responsibility, and ethical business practices
• Identify potential risks and challenges to plantation operations, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard assets, resources, and reputation.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role as a Regional Head within the palm oil plantation industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale plantations spanning over 50,000 hectares, with a focus on operational excellence and productivity.
• Strong understanding of plantation management practices, agronomy, and agribusiness operations, particularly within the context of the palm oil sector.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving and goal achievement.
• Sound knowledge of environmental sustainability, regulatory compliance, and corporate social responsibility principles relevant to the palm oil industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
