Opening Job Opportunity: Sales Engineer (In BSD City, South Tangerang)

We currently have an opening for a Sales Engineer. As part of this role, you will be responsible for sales and customer relationships for the products and services within your assigned accounts and territories. Your responsibilities will include

What You Will Do

• Drive sales initiatives to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product sales and after-sales services.
• Develop action plan for sales strategies, regularly reporting on progress and evaluating performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Increase revenue from existing customers while also acquiring new customers.
• Identify, develop, and follow up on projects and opportunities within the market.
• Provide market insights on customer activities, projects, and sales forecasts to management. Utilize sales forecasts and activity reports as monitoring tools
• Act as the primary contact for assigned customers, addressing their business needs and nurturing key relationships. Capable of applying technical knowledge to offer suitable solutions to customers’ needs. 
• Stay updated with the latest of Market developments, including updates in customer businesses trend, and acquire pertinent knowledge about competitor products.

What You Must Have

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Physical Engineering, or any related engineering field.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as sales engineer .
• Proficient in multitasking within a dynamic environment, including applying problem -solving skills, generate high-quality sales leads, close follow-ups after initial contact with clients, price negotiation, securing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
• Demonstrates assertiveness and good presentation skills.
• Possess your own transportation (car with valid driving license).
• Able to organize customer visits based on customer segmentation and market analysis. 
• Proficient in both spoken and written communication in English.
• Demonstrates a long-term commitment mindset.

What Nice to Have

• Strong experience in Pharma / FMCG / Automotive / R&D / Institutions / Packaging / Petrochemical / Process Engineering / Metallizing Industries sectors would be beneficial advantageous.
• Familiarity with Vacuum Process, Blower, Compressed Air Process, Gas Analyzer, and Industrial Chiller / Precision Chiller is desirable.
• Candidates with a background in project engineering or specific technical fields who are interested in exploring a career in sales will also be considered.
