Job Overview

To develop and implement HR plan/ strategy/ policy/ procedure, to direct, monitor, control overall HR function at Indonesia, in order to create conducive working environment, as well as to ensure highly capable manpower that support the achievement of business strategy

Duties of Responsibilities:

  • Leads & manage the Facilities HR team in the country. Act as the Country HR Advisor & Business Partner to the Country GM.
  • Responsible for establishing and revising Country HR policies and programs that cut across the facilities and ensure consistent practice.
  • Establish Country & Facilities HR department goal measurements that support the accomplishment of the overall HR strategic goals to meet business objectives.
  • Establish an effective and meaningful Government Relations and Industrial Relations policy and programs in the country where our facilities operates.
  • Provide direction to Facilities HR to utilizes the HRIS system to eliminate administrative tasks, empower employees, and meet the other needs of the organization.
  • Leads the set-up for HR team, policy and procedures for new Factory set-up and continuously provide the support & guidance to complete the factory set-up.
  • Provide guidance to the Facilities HR to establishes an in-house employee training system.
  • Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for the company on any topic associated with employee relations and employee rights.
  • Designs, directs and manages a country-wide process of organization development.
  • Build strong collaborative working relationships with the relevant Group HR teams needed to support the Country & Facility HR goals and objectives.
  • Propose and implement ongoing improvements to enhance country and facility HR operations effectiveness.
  • Facilitate & lead Country & facility change management process.
  • Work with business leaders and Group HR leadership to propose and drive new HR initiatives that support the factory set-up and future business needs.
  • Partner with Country GM to manage and resolve the human resource related matters.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of Country & facility HR policies and procedures
  • Lead and guide the facilities HR for standardization and best practices of HR policies and programs
  • Be the point of contact of Country HR for group HR functions in order to escalate matters that needed group HR functions expertise
  • Coach and train team members in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees of the company
  • Audit and improve the employee wellbeing engagement process and grievances procedures
  • Guide the facilities HR to collects competitive market research on pay & benefit practices in the area to provide feedback to Group HR for further understanding of competitors practices. This will allow proactive actions and recommendations
  • Monitors employee in house training to ensure it meets the need of the business
  • Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal requirement
  • Establish a good network with the Trade Union, Government departments and Community leaders to ensure we are constantly aware of surrounding area community activities and potential employee strikes
  • Follow company program
  1. Comply, giving instruction and supervise all company management system of OHS, energy, quality & environment so that management system runs in scope of management (top-down).
  2. Support and review management of change and policy related management system of OHS, energy, quality & environment to establish company management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above. Major in HR, Business Management
  • Have At least 15 years of full function HR management inclusive of country HR management for 3 years and above. This includes on current external HR policies, practices and trends
  • Fluent English by Oral & written
  • Have Knowledge’s of
  1. Employment law & grievance procedures.
  2. Compensation & Benefits.
  3. Organizational planning, Employee training,
  4. Employee relations & Government relations,
  5. Fluent in English. Additional ability in Chinese is an added advantage
