PT Trina Mas Agra Indonesia is looking for high potential candidates to be employed as Mandarin Technical Translator with the following details:

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Willing to work in Kendal, Central Java
3. Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and fluency in English.
4. Proven experience in technical translation, particularly in the solar PV manufacturing industry.
5. In-depth understanding of factory operation processes, terminology, and best practices in the solar PV manufacturing industry.
6. Familiarity with technical documents, such as operation manuals, specifications, and safety guidelines.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with technical experts and stakeholders.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy in translating complex technical information.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high translation quality.
10. Knowledge of translation tools and software is preferred.
11. Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.

Job Description:

1. Translate technical documents, including operation manuals, process guidelines, specifications, and safety protocols, from Indonesian or English to Mandarin Chinese and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and consistency of terminology.
2. Collaborate with technical experts, engineers, and subject matter specialists to understand complex manufacturing processes and terminology, clarifying any ambiguities or discrepancies in the source material.
3. Provide linguistic and technical expertise during the translation process, ensuring that translated content accurately conveys the intended meaning and adheres to industry standards.
4. Research and verify technical terms, acronyms, and specialized terminology to maintain consistency and precision in translations.
5. Review and edit translated documents for grammar, style, and formatting, ensuring readability and adherence to established guidelines.
6. Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to prioritize translation tasks, meet project deadlines, and address any challenges or issues that arise during the translation process.
7. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information and proprietary documents.
8. Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to the solar PV manufacturing sector, incorporating new knowledge into translations as necessary.
9. Provide support for cross-functional teams, such as quality assurance, engineering, and production, by facilitating effective communication and understanding of technical documentation across language barriers.
