Job description & requirements

Job Descriptions:

Global Class Program Establishment with External Partners:

  • Manage the coordination with Partnership and Relations Section Head regarding the possible partnership for global class program, and agreement establishment with external parties.
  • Perform curriculum mapping by coordinating it with external partners and the respective faculty/school.
  • Propose operational planning and implementation to accommodate the operational activities of the establish global class programs.
  • Ensure collaboration with respective faculty/school to conduct curriculum design by adding the global minded competences and outcomes. 
  • Develop and implement curriculum and teaching strategies that competitively improve the global class program by coordinate it with faculty/school.

Global Minded Curriculum Implementation:

  • Manage the collaboration with the with respective faculty/ school to perform following activities:

O Conduct curriculum design by adding the global minded competences and outcomes.

O Develop and implement curriculum and teaching strategies that competitively improve the program.

O Recruit, guide and manage a high-quality instructors, including its allocation and training.

Academic Operational Implementation and Monitoring:

  • Ensure the readiness of all internal academic operation processes related to international mobility activities.
  • Manage the coordination with internal units in BINUS University for internal operational process implementation.

O Prepare and monitor the embed external or additional components in the academic operation system.

O Prepare and monitor grade recognition, document, and graduation integration.

O Monitor and implement student and credit transfer mechanism and process.

  • Manage and monitor the staff duties regarding lecturing, class problems, demonstrating, laboratories, tutorials, etc. that occurs.
  • Propose improvement plan to BINUS Global Director to improve the internal operational process.
  • Manage the coordination with International Office Manager in providing the student services advisory, admission activities, student relations activities, communication, and event activities.

(Design, Implement & Evaluate) the Mentorting Programs to Achieve Global Competencies:

  • Manage and monitor the mentoring programs to ensure students acquire global competences and proper placement opportunities with industry partners.
  • Identify and engage relevant persons and departments to maximize the reach and scope of mentoring programs.
  • Integrate the mentoring and internship programs to be seamless between academic and non-academic areas.
  • Design a placement system to match students’ competencies / interest to proper partner institutions.

Internship and Related Study Abroad for Global Class Students:

  • Manage and monitor the Internship and related study abroad for Global Class students.
  • Liaise with departments and all related parties to ensure in-house processes to prepare for Global Class students’ study abroad and internship takes place appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage and monitor the Global Class students’ internship registration processes to ensure all students are assigned to their proper destinations and all the requirements are promptly fulfilled.
  • Advise, coordinate, monitor, & evaluate internship for Global Class students.
  • Provide consultation sessions for Global Class students, to ensure that students are properly guided, and their needs are being properly met.

Faculty Development:

  • Manage and monitor the professional development for Global Class lecturers to ensure high qualification, including international faculty mobility.
  • Liaise with BCL&D and other relevant parties to provide workshops and other forms of professional development for existing and prospective GC lecturers, to ensure they have the right skills repository and are proficient in using them in related area.
  • Identify and monitor international opportunities for lecturers.
  • Engage Global Class lecturers to make use of faculty mobility opportunities as well as opportunities for other kinds of international exposure.
  • Identify and manage the opportunities to develop communities of practice.

Management Support Activities:

  • Provide Report to direct Supervisor
  • Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
  • Perform activities related to Quality Management System
  • Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Education Requirement: 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree

Work Exposure/ Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years experiences in Supervisory level, or
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience
