Sales and Marketing Administration

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, tunneling, quarrying and breaking and demolition.

Job Summary

Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Sales and Marketing Administration based in Jakarta.

The role is to provide timely and effective administrative support to a contract or sales team, unit, or department.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Environment

  • Ensure all activities are being carried out in accordance with company values and current company policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of housekeeping to optimize a safe and productive working environment with a quality outcome.

Customer Focus

  • Work within the sales team and support them to achieve sales objectives and improve the sales efficiency and customer satisfaction by provide accurate administration process.

  • Proactive follow up calls and mails to the customer, keeping them updated and relationship maintained.

Sales Administration

  • Submit data and use databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date customer records; to track the status of orders and deliveries; to maintain sales commissions and expense records; custom clearance, transportation organizing; and to generate contract or sales reports and make simple calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.

  • Process sales and invoices so that customer orders are dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately and on time.

  • Follow up & coordinate with supply chain network on outstanding delivery items.

  • Draft contract or sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements.

  • Perform background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the contract or sales team’s activities.

  • Communicate with staff from other areas in the organization, such as production, warehouse, transport, or distribution, to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer complaints.

  • Arranging site permit or necessary documents and other administration support connected to our service to customer.

  • Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and support the data to respective Sales Managers.

Marketing Administration

  • Providing support for field team such merchandise, souvenirs in timely manner (calendar before new year, souvenirs for promotion etc)

  • Perform background research for marketing event purposes, keep promotional materials ready and organized by inventorying stock.

  • Plans marketing event, trade shows, expos, by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, mailing lists, etc.

  • Utilize social media for promotions, company branding, or other marketing purpose.

Relationships and Authority

  • Supported directly by the Sales Manager Equipment.

  • Liaises with: Relevant Sandvik CSC Supervisor, Pricing & Inventory Supervisor; Export & Import Team; Regional Demand Planner & Inventory Team; Product Line Application & Engineers.

Competencies Required

  • High energy and enthusiasm, and importantly the ability to work unsupervised.

  • Accurate focus.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor education or equivalent in Business, Technical, Administration.

  • Understanding of the Indonesia mining industry would be beneficiary.

  • 3 – 4 years working experiences in contract management support or sales support roles.

  • Intermediate English proficiency.

  • Computer literacy, possess a valid Car Driving License would be advantage.

  • Willing to travel using different mode of transport.
