GENERAL PURPOSE OF ROLE :

Under supervision, performs a variety of assignments through the application of basic engineering theories, techniques, and practices. In development mode being trained in the utilization of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables while gaining exposure to procedures and processes.

 

JOBS DESCRIPTION :

• Servicing and maintenance of drill rig and auxiliary equipment with emphasis on preventative maintenance. Ensure that the work done is in accordance with relevant codes.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Install ground leads/earths when necessary.
• Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators.
• Maintain records of all electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Operate the Lathe Machine to produce parts, tools and equipment using sketches, prints or instruction manuals.
• Ensure all safety gear are fitted to the rigs and support equipment and that they are in working condition. E.g. emergency stops.
• Ensure all essential spare parts required for the running of rigs and support gear is ordered for the site.
• Maintain current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
• Servicing and maintenance of lathe and tools with emphasis on preventative maintenance. Ensure that work done is in accordance with relevant codes.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs of lathe.
• Ensure good housekeeping at the workshop and site. (Tools and work area.)

The successful applicant must have the following attributes, skills and experience:​

• Candidate (She/He) must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome but preferably have experience at least 1 years in the related field is required for this position especially can operate lathe or milling machine.
• Can read measuring instruments and technical drawings.
• Computer literate with basic understanding of CAD/CAM programming such as MASTERCAM, DELCAM, etc is an advantage.
• Proficient in English language both in verbal and written.
• Preferably having certificated competency issued by BNSP or Minister of Manpower Office.
• Have a good manner and attitude. 
• Strong analytical and strategic thinker.
• Strong interpersonal skills & Presentation Skill.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office is a must.
• Preferably domicile in Bogor District or surrounding area.
• Willing to be placed to work at Bogor District.
