Client Details

Our Client is an international non-profit organization working in alleviating multiple public issues in Indonesia. One of their main focus groups is Health, and to date they have successfully implemented programs in improving children health and nutrition status. They are looking for an accountable figure to lead and expand their impact in Indonesia, hence looking for a Health Program Director

Description

• Develop and effectively direct programmatic activities to ensure public health methodology is sound
• Serve as a senior leader for public health content, program design, evaluation, and dissemination across all programs.
• Monitor scopes of work to ensure timeliness, quality and accuracy of activities vis-à-vis contractual and grant commitments.
• Ensure programmatic excellence through development and implementation of innovative performance and outcomes measures.
• Facilitate small and large group meetings, internally and externally. This may also include facilitating on site community meetings.
• Monitor national initiatives in the field of public health as well as programmatic innovations and best practices from other sectors
• Oversee management of programmatic budgets to ensure effective and compliant use of grant and contract funds
• Direct budget development for new programs and renewals

Profile

• Masters in Public Health or equivalent, preferably with MBA degree or advanced degree in health education
• Minimum 10 years of experience in health programming, with a significant portion in director position
• Experience in resource mobilization, business development, national level advocacy
• Experience in managing health related significant grants, especially with USAID, DFAT, EU, corporate donors with excellent donor relationship
• Demonstrable competence in training, monitoring and evaluation, policy review and formulation, proposal and report writing
• Fluency in written and spoken English
