The senior manager is in charge of overseeing the factory partner for apparel product (PSS) to handle the E2E manufacturing and development.

Description

• Lead the entire sourcing business, operations, and functions within designated groups of factories/operation centers to implement global sourcing strategies.
• Take accountability for leading the Development & Commercialization and Production teams in supplier groups/OCs, ensuring adherence to job descriptions/responsibilities and company standards, with support from relevant functional heads when necessary.
• Assume ownership of all KPI performance for managed vendors within the assigned “Country of Origin (CoO)” and foster relationships at the Supplier Group level where applicable.
• Drive key company initiatives such as Quality, ME/CI, SPIKE, and Tier1/Tier2 alignment programs to ensure industry-leading/world-class overall and supplier capabilities.
• Cultivate and sustain close working relationships with factory senior management and internal functional leads for prompt issue resolution and engagement in overall company strategies.
• Represent operations both internally and externally, fostering strategic partnerships and relationships with customers.
• Provide input and regular updates of information essential to support the allocation process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local laws concerning human rights, employee health and safety, and environmental standards.
• Invest in people skills through development and training, offer ongoing coaching to team members, and actively contribute to driving engagement.
• Enhance the work environment, considering infrastructure, SEA & labor, and security.
• Streamline processes through continuous improvement techniques, challenge existing standards and procedures.
• Oversee Direct Development (DD) audits to ensure that Virtual & Physical samples meet adidas standards and reflect design intent.

Profile

• University degree
• Has experiences in operating special machines to produce specific products ie. outdoor jackets
• Have a wide experience of sourcing management concept of consumer goods.
• Strong communication and influencing skills. Good English skills.
• Strong stakeholders management (factory and other BU team)
• Has basic garment knowledge in development and production
• Growth mindset
• Has experience in outdoors product manufacturing will be an advantage
