Specifically for the SAFETY TASK FORCE mission

• Participate to the HIRA assessment of the designated plant
• Active participation to the analyze of the safety issues of the designated plant à set up the prioritization program
•  Analyze the safety priority and propose and animate the problem solving
• Define the solution with the designated project manager (PM) and the local team
• Apply Safety Validation process: Support to identify the best supplier and explain the expected issue to him à review and challenge the upgrade proposed by the supplier
• Ensure that CE compliance is taken into account and participate to the selection of the CE third party and the definition of its contract; specific issue to challenge the risk assessment done by third party.
• Support the project team (PT) during the execution
• Reporting

Specifically for the SAFETY VALIDATION mission

• Ensure Safety Validation is fully implemented in all main projects and support plants for their own projects. It is his responsibility.
• Support the PM for the integration of EHS in the project: PARTICIPATE; but he is not the only doer as the action shall be handled by the PT incorporating local people!
• Support the PM for ensuring all the safety in design review are implemented. For instance, aligned with the PM, he can be the doer.
• For instance support the PT for the risk assessment: we need 2 risk assessment:

·      the HIRA (that can only be done internally) à he can train & share the format and help identifying and not forgetting main risks, and

·      the ISO format for CE compliance assessment and safety level calculation à he can explain the difference between the 2 formats and create the links (to save time and efforts), support the creation of the document, liaise with the CE compliance third party to ensure the quality of this RA and the design of the safety level

• coordinate the CE compliance third party and the PT during the design stage and the FAT à to make sure the supplier integrates in advance the modification required (for EHS compliance and for CE compliance)
• participate to the FAT and SAT
• coordinate with for the final CE certificate
• influence and recommend the PT AND the SUPPLIER on the EHS solution to be implemented
• escalade up in case of major issues or sound disagreement
• Reporting
• Support the technical office and engineer providing expertise in EHS

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Master degree in Industrial / Engineering (based on experience)

·        Expert in safety machinery

·        Fluently in English (spoken and written),

·        Machinery CE compliance

·        3-8 years in the same field
