Purpose and Scope

The successful candidate will be responsible for business development and sales of Steel Structure, Steel Bridge, Steel Tank in Indonesia. The successful candidate will drive the business agenda and collaborate with others to challenge boundaries. It’s a challenging but highly rewarding business.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the steel construction and fabrication segment in the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Sector.
• New Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business prospects, strategic alliances, and partnerships in the construction segment of the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Industries.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key industry stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. Including the industry stakeholders and related government institutions (LPSE PU, E-Kalalog, BUMN atau BUMD, Private Energy Company).
• Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets through the acquisition of construction projects in the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Sector.
• Project Evaluation: Assess construction projects for feasibility and profitability, evaluating risks and potential return within the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Industries.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts, joint ventures, and partnership agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, safety standards, permits, and compliance requirements for steel fabrication and construction in the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Industries.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, legal and finance, to execute construction projects successfully.
• Market Positioning: Develop and implement a marketing strategy to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation within the steel fabrication and construction in the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Industries.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field from top university. A Master’s degree may be preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a focus on steel fabrication and construction or technology within the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Industries.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes, construction methods, equipment, technologies, and industry trends.
• Network: A strong network of industry contacts, including Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining companies, construction contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in contract negotiation, with a track record of successful deals in steel fabrication and construction projects within the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining sector.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to evaluate project feasibility and profitability.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining regulations, safety standards, permitting processes, and construction compliance to ensure legal and safe operations.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple construction projects within the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining industry.
• Results-driven: A proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development and revenue targets in the context of fabrication and construction in the Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining Industries.
• Adaptability: The steel fabrication industries and construction projects can be dynamic; the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and opportunities is essential.
