Main Purpose of Job

• The Supervisor, Procurement is primarily responsible to carrying out of all assigned activities related to the Procurement functions and initiatives in YADIN. This includes the ordering of materials, supplies, management of dealers, suppliers and procurement expenditure.

Responsibilities

• Regularly review and evaluate current and potential suppliers, and identify the suppliers that offer the best quality and delivery service for YADIN’s benefit.
• Responsible for the planning and execution of sourcing strategies.
• Responsible to seek bids, tenders, quotation and proposals from vendors.
• Ensure that all material and supplies purchase comply with the Company’s social sustainability policies.
• Initiates and implement cost reductions on assigned commodities.
• Preparing purchase agreement between vendors and the Company.
• Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors and suppliers. This include evaluation and re-negotiation with current with current vendors and suppliers.
• Managing existing vendor and supplier’s relationship.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing record, reports and price list.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• The Supervisor, Procurement will assist to lead the Procurement in YADIN and oversee all day to day department operations.
• Plan, delegate, communicate and monitor work assignment and special projects for the department.
• Evaluate the performance of subordinate’s document and discuss present and past performance, and set expectations for the desire performance level in accordance to the company’s performance management system.

• Ability to work cooperatively as a team and stay committed together on the task at hand.
• Ability to proactively identify priority task, anticipate implications and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
• Strong drive to remain focused, self-motivated and committed to completing or achieve task.
• Detailed, well-organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time, prioritizing required actions accordingly to meet required deadlines.
• Meticulous and pays attention to details to ensure minimum errors in work.

Knowledge and Experience Required

• Minimum Bachelor’s Supply Management, Logistic, Industrial Engineering Management or relevant fields.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position in Logistics or Procurement operations.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge and experience in pricing computation and strategy, and collection and analyzing procurement data.
• Strong knowledge in production materials and material costing.
