Responsibility:

1. Responsible for all import and export duties.
2. Prepare, and collect related data for import and export.
3. Organize import and export clearance, and coordinate with clearing agents and freight forwarders.
4. Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiation with freight forwarders.
5. Coordinate with the QA team to ensure all the relevant test reports and certificates are sent with the shipment.
6. Ensure timely & correct documentation for import and export.
7. Supervises and Coordinates Import and Export Activities.
8. Experience in handling triangle/cross-trade shipments.
9. Ensure that they are monitored, reported, and reviewed for accuracy and in compliance with applicable national laws, regulations, rules, policies, and procedures.
10. Update national and local regulations related to Customs clearance matters for steel and iron products/dealers/logistics.
11. Communications & do reporting to Customs (Bea Cukai) in the Bonded Zone.
12. Maintain good relationships and communication with the shipper at the origin.
13. Maintain and develop communication with external parties (customs and forwarders).
14. Liaises closely with shipping companies, trucking companies, port authorities, and other statutory authorities to ensure that their requirements are met.
15. Have the knowledge to manage and organize the warehouse and its inventory.
16. Ensures compliance with Health Safety policies & procedures to promote safe working practices and ensure lost time injuries are kept to a minimum.
17. Measures and monitors performance against critical criteria, policies, and guidelines established by Loesche Indonesia.

Requirements:

1. Preferably a university degree in logistics, maritime and port, or process/industrial engineering or a marine qualification or similar level.
2. Minimum 5-6 years in logistics and Export-Import.
3. Understanding of the transport industry and an ability to relate with shipping companies and other associated industry managers.
4. Good communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization.
5. Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and other government requirements.
6. Fluent in English.
7. Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ab
