BASIC FUNCTIONS
- Be responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and evaluating Kohler Experience Center (KEC) sales activities within Indonesia, in order to promote and service Kohler KEC sales & products through designer, other specifies and users in accordance with establishing profitability and service goals.
- Manage the overall operation of KEC and Exhibition activities. Effectively supervise, coach and train showroom sales staff to serve our clients and meet sales budgeted plan.
- Establish and maintain regular contact with designer in assigned areas to introduce and promote the sale of KEC products in accordance with company, branch, marketing goals and policies.
- Establish and maintain contact with potential and existing designer & architects and customers to create awareness of Kohler products in their design and favorite choice of products.
- Manage KEC Marketing to drive more walk-in and improve Loyalty Key retail designers with KDC program.
- Work with cross functional teams to develop Sales, marketing & digital tools to benefit KEC consumers and increase sales.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES
- To drive Kohler Corporate mission of gracious living for those who are touched by our products and services.
- Achieve monthly sell out and coordinate with Distributor for stock and delivery.
- To serve both end consumers and the professionals of Architects, Designers, Operators and Developers in meeting their needs.
- Develop KEC sales & marketing strategies and designer support programs in Indonesia to drive sales and promote KOHLER brand leadership in the market.
- Make KEC into a design hub for the industry to bring clients.
- Increase KEC’s utilization as a selling tool for designers and developers.
- Continue retail drive and end user driven promotion to achieve sales target.
- Coordinate with product team and/or sales team for consumer and trade promotions.
- Showroom Operations:
– Control KEC stock with distributor
– Work with other managers to identify efficiency and effectiveness operations opportunities
– Develop and implement uniform ”best practices”
– Continually work to minimize operations overhead expense
- Display Management:
– Maintain display appearance
– Analyze display performance and address problems
– Work with design team to maximize display effectiveness
– Gather input from sales force about trends and requests from customers
- Sales Force:
– Provide salespeople with performance goals
– Track and monitor performance against goals
– Review with salespeople performance
– Identify training needs and provide means to obtain training
– Address and document problem quickly
- Marketing:
– Work with marketing team to develop the plan for showroom events
– Implement the showroom plan
– Increase exposure and presence in design community
– Maintain awareness of competition and general market condition
- Personnel Management and Communication:
– Monitor performance of all showroom personnel, conduct annual reviews and document
– Address personnel problems quickly
– Ensure employee’s performance corresponds with documentation and salary increase
– Maintain timely and effective communications with other managers and Kohler personnel
- Designers Approach & Management
– Establish good relationship with all design associations & direct approach key design firms.
– Build good relationship with key10 & visit all 50 key firms to exchange contact to ensure we can directly service them in emergency situations
– Establish good relationship with all design associations.
– Build up closer relationship with designers through KDC(Kohler Design Community) program and generate sales and loyalty through KDC.
– Encourage designers to continuously purchase Kohler products and be the loyal partners to promote Kohler brand.
RELATIONSHIPS & CONTACT
- Report to the Head of Marketing, K&B Indonesia
- Supervise the KEC sales executives
- Frequent contacts with the other sales / marketing teams of K&B Indonesia
External Business Relationships:
- Frequent contact with customers, designer and distributors.
- Moderate contact with local design/retail trade associations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, self-disciplined, and goal-oriented.
- Result-oriented, able to work under pressure, good time management.
- Good command of MS Office software and graphics application.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- At least 8 years retail store sales experience and management in Building material, plumbing products, home decoration or durable product is preferred.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration /Management and/or design (preferably high–end interior design).
- Personnel management skills are essential.
- 6 working days.
